This application can be submitted to one or more of the participating institutions listed below that offer the SFS CyberCorps program. There are many other institutions that also offer CyberCorps scholarships. A complete list is at sfs.opm.gov.
The academic institutions listed below have joined together to provide a standard application that allows you to fill out one application form even if you are applying to more than one CyberCorps school. Once submitted, your application will be transmitted to each school that you applied to. This is not an application to the school, only for the CyberCorps program at the school. You must make a separate application for admission to the school unless you have already been admitted there.
To qualify for a CyberCorps scholarship,
- Applicants must be U. S. citizens.
- Applicants must be full-time students while receiving the scholarship.
- Undergraduate applicants must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and graduate applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 (on a 4-point scale). Each institution may have additional requirements or restrictions. Each has its own application process and deadlines. It is very important to first read up on each institution you are applying to before you start your application.. Information on their CyberCorps program is given on their CyberCorps website (see links below). If you require more information AFTER CAREFULLY READING AN ACADEMIC INSTITUTION’S CYBERCORPS WEBSITE, you can contact its CyberCorps program by using the contact information below.
